Researching the Gurule surname? Check out our web site. I have over 4,000 records, including the history of the Gurule name in New Mexico from the article "Grolet-Gurule: Los Franceses of Nueva Mexico" written by Virginia L. Olmsted and published by the National Genealogical Society (March 1987). This article contains references for four generations of Gurule families from late 1600's to early 1800's, including all references on where names and dates were obtained. Also, I've got records for all Gurule's listed in the Albuquerque Baptisms (1706-1850), numerous census indexes/records (from 1790 to 1910), marriage and baptism records, and over 600 records from the Social Security Death Index. Willing to help with all your questions for the Gurule surname. Angela Lewis

Cattle Brands, Sheep Brands and Stock Earmarks must be registered in New Mexico. The brand book reveals where your ancestor lived at the time brand was reregistered. Lookups will be for one Surname, First name or initials, and approximate location as required by the USGenWeb Policy on Lookups. Harold Kilmer

I will do lookups in the High Plains History Book for De Baca County. In the Subject box put De Baca County Lookup. Show the surname in capital letters of the person to search for in the body of the memo and also show a first name or initial and a estimated date to search. Harold Kilmer.
